About the event

Read About Stephen Rambo Below:Our Mission Statement

To celebrate the spiritual unity of all life and raise consciousness in light and love through community meditation and education and to inspire and empower those who attend the World Healing Meditation Ceremonies and all of humanity with the life transforming experience of Healing, Oneness and Unity.

World Healing Meditation Meetings

These public meditation ceremonies are provided to bring people together, regardless of faith or philosophy, to receive and radiate spiritual energy and create a positive force of peace and goodwill. The ceremonies are scheduled to coincide with the full moon of each month. People from diverse backgrounds all around the world meet at these designated moments in time in unified prayer and meditation. There is no greater power for positive change than the combined focused intent of united minds. These ceremonies have been observed for over 60 years in their present form but have their roots in customs dating back to the dawn of humanity. There has not been a greater need in recent history for this service. We invite you to join us and bring a friend to be part of creating a more peaceful and joyful world.

Guest Speaker:

Bio Reverend Stephen Rambo is honored and excited to serve the CSL Simi family after having been at Founder’s Church of Religious Science for over 10 years. He is a licensed minister of Religious Science for the Centers for Spiritual Living.

Rev. Stephen is guided by two mottos; “Be yourself ‘cause everybody else is taken!” and “You are the garden… living in a field of infinite possibilities.”

He believes in and focuses much of his attention on community engagement – “Community is the next frontier for the Science of Mind teaching. It’s time to apply the philosophy and practices that have positively changed our individual lives to make positive changes in our community.”

Rev. Stephen serves on the Centers for Spiritual Living Re-Generation Committee, charged with recruiting emerging adults (18-35 year olds) into Religious Science ministry. He is also a member of the Science of Mind Archives and Library Foundation board and serves on the CSL Events Committee responsible for planning the Annual CSL Conventions.

Going by the more casual, Steve Rambo, he was the weathercaster and environmental reporter on KCBS-TV2 for over a decade. In the years since television, Rev. Stephen devoted time to his spiritual calling becoming a licensed Practitioner, returning to school to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies and Theology from Antioch University, and being awarded a Master’s Degree from the Holmes Institute for Consciousness Studies.

His personal mission and joy is “to lovingly honor, encourage, and support your growth as you harvest from your field the highest good and the innermost Beingness inherent within you.”

Rev. Stephen loves camping and nature. He and his partner, Johanna van Gelder, like spending time at the beach, biking, motorcycling, reading, gardening, and cooking.

He welcomes hearing from you.

You can reach him at revstephen@cslsimi.org or call the church office at (805) 527 – 0870.
