About Our Speaker Musician

Rev. Barbara Oltman’s mission is to inspire, uplift, and empower. She has been a student of Religious Science since 1995. She and her husband Gary were licensed as Ministers of Religious Science in 2011. She has spoken, sung, and served in many New Thought churches. She has facilitated Artist’s Way workshops, and created and led her “Writing Your Own Amazing Life” workshop. Rev. Barbara believes in the healing power of music. A Southern California native, she studied voice at Chapman University and sang with the William Hall Chorale at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. From early roots in classical music and musical theatre, she expanded her repertoire to standards, pop, and rock. Her one-woman show “Only Connect” spanned many musical genres.
