About Our Speaker Musician

Rev. Barbara Oltman’s mission is to inspire, uplift, and empower. She has been a student of Religious Science since 1995. She and her husband Gary were licensed as Ministers of Religious Science in 2011. She has spoken, sung, and served in many New Thought churches. She has facilitated Artist’s Way workshops, and created and led her “Writing Your Own Amazing Life” workshop. Rev. Barbara believes in the healing power of music. A Southern California native, she studied voice at Chapman University and sang with the William Hall Chorale at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. From early roots in classical music and musical theatre, she expanded her repertoire to standards, pop, and rock. Her one-woman show “Only Connect” spanned many musical genres. She has sung for audiences at theatres, concert halls, clubs, and churches in the US and Europe. She is currently semi-retired, enjoying time with her new granddaughter and writing her first novel.

World Healing Meditation Meetings

These public meditation ceremonies are provided to bring people together, regardless of faith or philosophy, to receive and radiate spiritual energy and create a positive force of peace and goodwill. The ceremonies are scheduled to coincide with the full moon of each month. People from diverse backgrounds all around the world meet at these designated moments in time in unified prayer and meditation. There is no greater power for positive change than the combined focused intent of united minds. These ceremonies have been observed for over 60 years in their present form but have their roots in customs dating back to the dawn of humanity. There has not been a greater need in recent history for this service. We invite you to join us and bring a friend to be part of creating a more peaceful and joyful world.
