Besides a World Class Performer, he has music for commercials, motion pictures, videos, theatre, radio and recently, online performances, lessons, workshops and composing.

He brings a virtual museum of visually exciting, exotic sounding & unusual native instruments to his performances, workshops and lectures.

With his strong experience of 53 years performing; conducting educational programs he has presented many, many programs with and for: Preschool, Elementary, Middle and High School, Adults, Deaf, At risk & Challenged.
Since Martin is also a pioneer of he calls “Interactive Performance” where he easily motivates the audience of all ages to become a huge ancient orchestra playing his huge collection of native instruments and singing in native languages, like Maya, Nahuatl, Tepehuano and more..

His programs follow California State Visual and Performing Arts Standards but he had created his programs way back in the 80's before the standards existed!

He also conducts many instrument workshops for all ages (over 60,000 instruments made since 1990) that improve multi-tasking, listening skills, respect of nature and process.

His programs have cultural applications to all seasons of the year. Martin is also a Master Outreach Teaching Artist since 1990 with Young Audiences of Northern CA and College of the Canyons-Santa Clarita Performing Arts Center since 1995. He has also presented many times as a teaching/performing artist at Wells Fargo Performing Arts Center; Orchestras of Pasadena; Cerritos Center for Performing Arts and Star Inc.

Martin, now 65, has meditated since age 11. Since the 1980’s he has presented what he calls “Soundwork” (proactive & healing) using his ancestral instruments for all sorts ceremonies, blessings, healings, meditations and proactive soundwork. When he discovered neuroscience, in the last ten years, it made him see the effect his work with ancestral Aztec and Mayan instruments has had on people since he began back in 1990. It explained all of the reactions people have when he performs! Now, he incorporates what he’s learned to make his presentations and ceremonies, even more effective!
